What is ClubGRANTS?

The ClubGRANTS program funds community organisations and groups proposing to carry out projects that provide support to people in the Blacktown Local Government Area (LGA).

2026 Blacktown Local Community Priorities

All ClubGRANTS Category 1 applications are assessed against the local funding priorities. We recommend reading them through before settling on your final project. They can be found here.

Eligibility

Preference will be given to projects and services that:

directly benefit residents of Blacktown City
meet the local funding priorities of Blacktown City
are not readily assisted by existing Government funding programs.

Schools
Generally, funding for schools’ core business is not eligible as these activities are funded by the Government. However, if a school was proposing to fund an additional activity outside school hours that met the eligibility criteria, it may be eligible. For example, health promotion activities, family support, art therapy.
In short, in addition to being eligible under the Guidelines, the funding needs to be related to non-core business for the school and not during school hours.
Businesses
ClubGRANTS does not preclude private enterprise from applying, however the general focus is on supporting not-for-profits and local community groups which benefit our community.

Application dates

The 2026 Blacktown ClubGRANTS round will open at 9 am on Monday 2 March 2026 and close at 4 pm on Sunday 31 May 2026.
